Community Integrated Vulnerability Assessment (CIVA) training in Vanuatu
USP PACE-SD’s EU GCCA Project will be conducting a Regional Learning Event in Port Vila on how to carry out a Community Integrated Vulnerability Assessment (CIVA) which includes learning the use of a community-friendly (GIS) Risk Mapping Tool. The participants will include In-Country coordinators of the EU GCCA project from the 15 Pacific ACP countries and we have also invited representatives from national government and non-governmental agencies in Vanuatu as well as 2 participants from each of the 4 communities we plan to conduct CIVAs in including:
1. Eton village - East Efate
2. Eratap village - South Efate
3. Erakor village - South Efate
4. Mangaliliu village - West Efate
