Your feedback on the Strategy for Climate and Disaster Resilient Development in the Pacific

Soon we will be inviting you to provide your feedback and insights, as the Pacific takes a lead role globally in its approach to address Climate Change (CC) and Disaster Risk Management (DRM) in a more integrated manner, framed within the context of resilient development.

A new Strategy has been drafted, following an extensive and ongoing engagement process with key stakeholders. The draft will soon be available online for you to provide your comments and insights, based on your experience and expertise in the CC, DRM, development and related sectors.

More information about this process is available on this site: http://www.pacificdisaster.net:8080/Plone/roadmap - kindly hosted by Pacific Disaster Net (PDN). By Thursday 6 February 2014 this site will also link to the draft Strategy for Climate and Disaster Resilient Development in the Pacific (SRDP).

Pacific Solution Exchange (PSE) will also host an e-conversation, scheduled from Monday 10 February, inviting your comments on the draft strategy and on the extensive consultation process underway in the Pacific, to develop then implement an integrated approach to CC/DRM.
