ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT PLAN GCF defines ESMP as “a document that contains a list and description of measures that have been identified for avoiding adverse environmental and social impacts, including, where appropriate transboundary risks and impacts, or minimising them to acceptable levels, or to mitigate and compensate them and [is] usually the main output of the [environmental and social impact assessment] ESIA process”.
