Dear VCAN/VHT members,
Some of you may recall the Urban Vulnerability Assessment undertaken in Port Vila by RMIT university as part of the UN-Habitat Project. This report is done and RMIT wishes to report on the findings of this assessment to CSO/NGO in Vanuatu and at the same time workshop some potential objectives and actions to address the climate change needs identified.
All members are invited to attend this workshop which will be held at the Oxfam Office on Monday 16th March from 2-4pm.
As part of the UN Women’s Increasing Community Resilience through the Empowerment of Women to
Address Climate Change and Natural Hazards (IREACH) program, the Department of Women’s Affairs wishes to extend the invitation for your respective participation in a study workshop on 4th March 2015 at the Department of Women’s Affairs Office. Time: 8.30 – 11am. Find attached copy of invitation with further details of the workshop for your perusal.

Dear Colleagues, The NARI - EU ARD Project is organizing a field trip to its Project sites (Malafau & Siviri) on Thursday 5th of February 2015. The purpose of this visit is to see the overall progress of the activities and hear firsthand experiences from model farmers.Visiting scientists from the NARI-EU ARD project in PNG will be also part of this visit. All who are interested in being part of the visit are encouraged to come in your respective Departmental vehicles with drinking water and some food. We will depart from DARD head Office,Tagabe at 8.30am to the sites.
VRDTCA is currently going through a review of its work for the past 4 years , The Reviewers ( John Salong and Stephen Pollard ) plan to present their review findings tomorrow to VRDTCA's stakeholders .
