Dear NAB members and Stakeholders
On behalf of the Directors of VMGD and NDMO and NAB Co-Chairs, you or your representative are invited to attend a mini-NAB meeting this Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 pm at the VMGD Office (Training Room).
A letter of invitation from Mr Jotham Napat, Director of VMGD, is attached with the draft agenda.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
1. Meet with Ms Alicia Hayman, a Results Oriented Monitoring (ROM) expert engaged by the European Commission to assess the GCCA - Global Climate Change Alliance: Vanuatu project (EU-GCCA); and
2. Meet with a UNDP mission team from Suva regarding a national level situation analysis and stakeholder consultation for the new Pacific Risk Resilience (PRR) programme funded by AusAID
As Steering Committee for the EU-GCCA project, it will be important for the NAB to be part of a discussion on the progress and current status of the project.
The NAB is also invited to be briefed by a mission from the UNDP PC in Suva on the inception stage of the Pacific Risk Resilience programme.
