Dear Colleagues,
The Vanuatu Ministry of Education, SPC-GIZ Climate Change and USP are organizing a 2013 Climate Zone competition for Vanuatu's secondary school students. This year, we will build on the success of last year's climate zone quiz show and now open the competition to all of Vanuatu's secondary schools, specfically at the year 11 level.
This year the competition will be held in two parts:
Part 1: July: written quiz for all schools
Part 2: November: In person face-to-face competition for highest ranked schools
Find attached here a concept for the 2013 competition. At this stage we are preparing study materials for the school students.
We would like to invite your organization's participation to:
- Develop questions for the July written quiz
- Mark/grade school submissions and choose finalists
- Finance finalist schools to travel to Vila in November
- Participate as judges/hosts in the Final competition
MoE, USP and SPC-GIZ will be organizing a steering committee meeting on Tuesday 18 June at 9:00am VMGD Conference Room. We look forward to your attendance and contribution.
