The Department of Energy and the Climate Change Unit would like to invite you to a presentation and discussion on the recently announced UAE Pacific Partnership Fund - Renewable Energy Grants for Pacific Island Countries and potential project submission from Vanuatu to the first Call for Proposals.
The presentation/meeting will be in the VMGD building training room from 9am to 10.30 and the proposed agenda is as follows:
- Presentation of the UAE Pacific Partnership Fund and Application guidelines
- Possible projects to be proposed by Vanuatu
- Discussion on project selection, requirements for submission and way forward
The UAE Pacific Partnership Fund Guidelines and Letter from the UAE government will be sent to you in a second e-mail shortly.
The deadline for applications is 31st August 2013 and the SPC/GIZ CCCPIR programme has offered to assist us in writing a proposal.
We would be grateful if you could confirm your attendance of a representative by COB tomorrow (Tuesday) and we look forward to see you at 9am on Wednesday.
