I am a 350 Vanuatu National coordinator working with a local youth movement that is building a base of young climate activists.

350.org is a global climate movement and 350 means safety from the climate crisis.
350.org is focused on hard-hitting campaigns and grassroots organizing -- the kind of work that can build a movement big enough, strong enough, and smart enough to meet the scale of this crisis.

To preserve our planet, scientists tell us we must reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere from its current level of 400 parts per million ("ppm") to below 350 ppm. But 350 is more than a number—it's a symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

We 350 Vanuatu and 350 Pacific are part of a larger global climate movement, 350.org. It is well recognised that the pacific contributes minute amounts to the carbon problem, but are at the forefront of the climate impacts. It is hence our imperative to push for change, to move the world towards renewable, to hold governments accountable for inaction on climate change and this is what we do.

For those reasons, we 350 Vanuatu and 350 Pacific to hold a video screening of our own 'pacific climate warrior' video. Therefore, 350 Vanuatu decided to hold this event on 5 September at USP Emalus Campus at room 8 to coincide with and show solidarity with the Pacific Leaders Meeting happening in Marshall Islands.   In addition to the warrior video, we also plan to screen the Live & Learn Flying Fox movie and our Cloud Nasara.
