On behalf of the Department, I am sending an invitation letter (as attached) to you/your organisation to attend an important meeting on the 'Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilisation' and the Discussion on Vanuatu's ratification to the Protocol. The letter is self explanatory.
If you are unable to attend, please send a representative as your organisation's input to the discussion is important as we expect a collective decision at this meeting to approve the idea of getting Vanuatu to ratify the above Protocol after signing it in November 2011.
