The aim of the PIFACC Monitoring and Evaluation workshop is to provide Pacific Island countries (PICs) with an opportunity to document progress against PIFACC and specifically on the following areas:
1. Review progress made at National level in line with the themes of the PIFACC
2. Finalise climate change country profiles as tools for monitoring and evaluation of PIFACC
3. Gain understanding of PIFACC M&E framework and M&E in general and it's various functions
4. Document lessons learnt with PIFFAC implementation since 2005
5. Increased awareness of regional strategy to replace PIFFAC ( the 'new' integrated strategy on climate and disaster resilient development (SRDP)
6. Identify lessons learned that could be considered in the SRDP and other relevant outputs
7. To raise awareness amongst PICs of APAN and it's work in the Pacific
