The NARI-EU ARD Project of the Soil & water component is planning a training on crop water requirements and irrigation from the 3rd -4th September 2015. The training will be held at the DARD training center at the Tagabe Agriculture station. Due to the late arrival from participants from Tanna on the 3rd Sept ( 12:00pm), the training will commence at 1:30pm and follow on with a full day on Friday 4th September. A tentative program will be distributed on the first day of training.
The training will be facilitated by Dr. Dominik leader for the soil water component from the National Agriculture research institute (NARI), PNG. The DARD officers are encourage to attend to improve local capacity and knowledge while other departments and NGOs are required to sent representatives that have some basic knowledge/understanding in this area.
