Dear VCAN/VHT members,
Some of you may recall the Urban Vulnerability Assessment undertaken in Port Vila by RMIT university as part of the UN-Habitat Project. This report is done and RMIT wishes to report on the findings of this assessment to CSO/NGO in Vanuatu and at the same time workshop some potential objectives and actions to address the climate change needs identified.
All members are invited to attend this workshop which will be held at the Oxfam Office on Monday 16th March from 2-4pm.
It’s important that we all attend to find out how our inputs have been incorporated and at the same time use the opportunity to influence the climate change adaptation plans for the future of Port Vila /vanuatu in the light of the ongoing extreme weather conditions and uncertainties ahead.
