On behalf of the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) I would like to extend an invitation for you to attend the Vanuatu PARDI Impact Workshop and Market Day to be held in Vanuatu on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November 2015.
The Pacific Agribusiness Research for Development Initiative (PARDI) has contributed to improving livelihoods in the Pacific by strengthening market chains for selected high-value agricultural and forestry products. Ongoing commitment to improving livelihoods in the Pacific remains a focus for Australia’s aid program, ACIAR and our local partners. PARDI’s success reflects the strong partnerships between Australian and Pacific research organisations and Australia’s commitment to meaningful engagement in the region.

As outlined in the invitation the Impact workshop will highlight the technical outcomes of the PARDI projects, while the Market Day will be a showcase of the successes with the opportunity for networking with government, farmers, agribusiness and researchers. Directly following the market day will be a kava and networking dinner.
