SHORT TERM CONTRACTOR (STUDENT OPPORTUNITY):  LESSONS LEARNED PROJECT

 

The Contractor will develop a template for “lessons learned” and adaptation best practices, and produce at least 10 stand-alone best practice profiles from key National Advisory Board partners including GIZ, Mescal, Red Cross, VMGD and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

 

The Contractor will be based in the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Project Management Unit and will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  1. Develop a template for recording and documenting lessons learned and climate adaptation best practice
  2. Interview key NAB partners to collect lessons learned and best practices
  3. Produce at least 10 lessons learned profiles

 

Criteria:  A university degree, diploma or courses in a field directly relevant to the tasks stipulated above and climate change adaptation or equivalent experience pertinent to the envisaged assignment; word processing skills; computer graphics and layout skills; proficiency in English and Bislama or French.

 

Remuneration:  9,900 VUV per day

 

Duration:  50 days in mid-2013

 

Engagement is subject to final approval of EU-GCCA funding, but must be finalised by 30 November 2012.
