Pacific Energy Summit and Energy Investment Showcase

Viaduct Events Centre, Auckland
The Pacific Energy Summit is a unique event, bringing together Pacific island leaders, international development agencies, multilateral banks, private sector investors and companies who are working to provide efficient, clean, and affordable energy solutions for the Pacific region.
About the Pacific Energy Summit
Dependence on fossil fuels and access to affordable and reliable electricity are major burdens for Pacific island countries. The New Zealand Government and the European Union are co-hosting this Summit to provide an opportunity for Pacific island leaders to present their energy plans for reducing the use of fossil fuels through public and private sector investments in renewable electricity generation and energy efficiency (supply and demand side).
A prospectus of potential projects, including opportunities in solar energy (photovoltaics), wind energy, geothermal, hydro and bioenergy as well as energy efficiency will be presented at the Summit. This prospectus will highlight private sector opportunities for equipment and technology suppliers, energy consulting and contracting companies, providers of financial products and services, and potential independent power producers (IPPs).
