The Ecosystem-Based Management (EBM) Tools Network is pleased to announce that it will host a very special webinar on Finding the Right Tool(s) for Coastal Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Planning on Tuesday, March 12, at 2 pm US EDT/11 am US PDT/6 pm GMT. This webinar will be led by John Rozum, the EBM Tools Training Coordinator based with NatureServe and NOAA Coastal Services Center. It will be the public launch of a new guide Tools for Coastal Climate Adaptation Planning: A guide for selecting tools to assist with ecosystem-based climate planning that the EBM Tools Network will be releasing in early March.
The guide provides information on a set of key tools for multi-sector climate-related planning (i.e. planning which incorporates both ecosystem health and human well-being concerns), explains and illustrates the utility and role of tools in planning, and outlines a process for selecting appropriate tools for a projects. You can get an electronic copy of the guide as soon as it is released by sending a request to ebmtools@natureserve.org with “Climate Change Tools Guide” in the subject line.
